First things first, there are only 2 spots within the park where you can have meals. The other place is deeper within the park by the only hotel in the park. So this 布洛灣is what you would want to visit first as is closer. The area is scenic in the sense you can see aboriginal villages and enjoy a nice set course meal at the restaurant. It's a nice sitdown restaurant with AC. Its definitely not cheap when compared to the avg. We spent roughly $58 USD for 3 set meals as reference. Good thing they accept credit cards though. We enjoyed the food as there's delicacies you probably wouldn't otherwise experience anywhere else, and the ingredients are fresh. The overall taste in terms of seasoning is on the lighter side so may not appeal to some. I had the porkchop and I enjoyed their exclusive sake...

Do:

  1. Watch a 18mins video abt aboriginal people here. Staff at the counter is very friendly (see photo), do say hi to her and ask away.

  2. Walk the short trail here.

Note:

  1. cafe here is closed as business wasn't that good, so no snacks, coffee or anything.
  2. restaurant in the village hotel is on a reservation basis so do call in advance, I managed to do a walk in, can try your luck if you want to.

Seeing the grandeur of the canyon, my mood became expansive. Witnessing my own insignificance against the vastness of the world, I felt a sense of openness. While the site was a bit crowded, turning my ears toward the canyon, I heard the sound of flowing water and the echoes of the canyon, truly a beautiful experience.

Very beautiful place! Must come if you're around! It's even beautiful during raining. However I doubt if they will open the bridge if the rain is too heavy. I think it's one of the very rare spot that you can visit and see 太魯閣 from the top without climbing the mountains (and ask for permissions of course)

Very beautiful place! Must come if you're around! It's even beautiful during raining. However I doubt if they will open the bridge if the rain is too heavy. I think it's one of the very rare spot that you can visit and see 太魯閣 from the top without climbing the mountains (and ask for permissions of course)
