So highly commercialised that it detracts from the beauty of the gardens. Parking is available, but not free unless you eat at their restaurant which in turn costs you more money, and then there is a big push to buy more of their products through their vouchers (50ntd but can't be used concurrently) . Its all very expensive (300NT for entry) - not worth the extra drive unless...

Tourist trap. Expensive (300 NTD) entry Parking is NOT free unless you eat lunch Lunch is 620 NTD 7 course banquet meal (which was quite good, but not exceptional)

Somewhat okay maintenance but lacking at times. Lots of expensive trees that are nice. Owned and run by a Taiwanese mega corporate family. Consider coming if nearby, but don't bother making a big trip unless...
