I came here without any expectations since I had some free time in Yilan, but it turned out to be better than I expected. The lake is huge, and it’s a great place for a walk when the weather is nice. You’ll see ducks and geese, including some really big ones, which suggests they live here happily.
Around the lake, there are a cafe with great views, as well as restaurants. You’ll also find local farmers selling their homegrown fruits, which adds a lovely touch to the experience. The scenery is beautiful, though not the most breathtaking I’ve seen. I wouldn’t compare it to larger, well-maintained lakes, but for Yilan, this one is charming in its own way.

The sun is shining and the lake looks really beautiful. You can have some fodder to feed the fish. A name with a meaning of "beautiful little park" is more befitting.
