Wanglongpi — Attraction in Yuanshan

I came here without any expectations since I had some free time in Yilan, but it turned out to be better than I expected. The lake is huge, and it’s a great place for a walk when the weather is nice. You’ll see ducks and geese, including some really big ones, which suggests they live here happily.

Around the lake, there are a cafe with great views, as well as restaurants. You’ll also find local farmers selling their homegrown fruits, which adds a lovely touch to the experience. The scenery is beautiful, though not the most breathtaking I’ve seen. I wouldn’t compare it to larger, well-maintained lakes, but for Yilan, this one is charming in its own way.

If you like to have a trip with your family, and you don’t know where to go. I suggest that you can go to this area in Yilan. I went there with my family many times. The sun is shining and the lake looks really beautiful. You can have some fodder to feed the fish. I think all the fish in the lake are all enjoy here because many tourists will buy the fodders to feed them. It has a sidewalk next to the lake, and there is no sun because the shadows of the trees. It is a place with a nice scenery. It has a small lake with ducks and fishes. Frankly speaking, this place does it's name injustice. It isn't as grand as it sounds. A name with a meaning of "beautiful little park" is more befitting. If you have to travel more than 30 minutes to reach this place, then it isn't worth the hassle as one only needs at most 15 minutes to explore the place.
