Qiding Beach — Attraction in Zhunan Town

The beach is easily accessible thanks to the western expressway, and entrance is obvious, at the the large gate with the giraffe statue. To reach the beach, you need to walk a hundred meters by the bicycle trail on the left. Yet the beach is not that special. The sand is dark giving a murky appearance to the water. The place also lacks amenities, maintenance and cleaning (the seaside is littered with plastic or other trashes). Therefore, the beach is not that popular. Yet, it's not all bad, at low tide, a few water ponds will appear on the beach and they are very nice for children to play in safely. It's also a good place to take pictures, for sunset, nature or wind turbines. The bicycle path along the shore can be interesting, but mainly for mountain biking, not really for road biking.
