Surprisingly great spot. Since this park established in 1995, I just got the time to visit in 2018. Located quite a long ride from Jakarta downtown, in normal time, you can get 2 hour travel time, if we take account the traffic on peak season, students holiday or national holiday, I would advise you to expect, like, 4 hour minimal (2 hour from approx. Semanggi to get to Ciawi junction and another 2 hour to get to the site). If you taking a public transport you should start early in the day and plan your travel carefully, you don’t want to gamble with Puncak’s traffic. Anyway, again, surprisingly, it is well maintained and managed garden. I’m not sure how to refer to this place, park or garden, we’ll go with garden. I went here on weekdays and I go in the morning, so it is less traffic and travel hour. The variety of the flowers and plants is very diverse. You can see and experience plants and flower from almost around the globe. You can use app on your phone to help identify the plans or flower in the garden, as even though the plants are well maintain, the information aspect is not taken seriously. You can take the Wara Wiri shuttle is the leg-cramp-less way to experience the more than 30 hectares garden.

However, the variety of flowers is somewhat limited, which might not fully meet the expectations of those looking for a more diverse floral display. Initially, I imagined a breathtakingly vast flower field, but the landscape design here feels a bit monotonous. Another thing to consider is its location, which is quite far from the city center. While this adds to the tranquility, it also means extra travel time. In terms of pricing, the entrance fee varies for local and international tourists, with an additional charge for the sightseeing bus. However, considering the facilities and the overall experience, the pricing is quite fair. Overall, it’s a beautiful and serene place to visit, though it may not be as breathtaking as I initially expected. 8.5/10 Would recommend for a relaxing family trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
