Its a sunbank and not a beach. the locals have come up with a very good idea of making interest in the tourists by offering a full day tour to prison and Pange island with offering fruits , BBQ and Fries after we reach the sunbank and have our swimming. Each boat carries a tent and all the cooking items with them .We can start our exploration of the island and the driver and helper will setup the camp and start cooking. Its hot in the afternoon and by 2 pm the water starts rising and the sun bank start becoming smaller in size with the rising water level. By 4 it is a very small island and people starts to move by 3-4 pm. 30 min boat ride from stone town. Value for money .

The most beautiful place I have seen. Just water and sand but it's amazing. Take a boat ride from Stone Town to the island about 20 to 30 min ride depending on the weather conditions and water conditions. Recommend timing is from 11am to 3pm normally people leave from there around 3pm. You can swim here and also snorkeling is available. Later enjoy fresh made lunch on the island. Enjoy the views and take a boat ride back. Remember if ur taking a private boat ride from Stone Town coming and going will only cost you about $20 USD don't over pay. They charge 40 000 shilling for the ride and 10 000 for the tent rental. Just FYI

Fresh water , golden sands , one of Allah's wonders in the ocean , 🌊 we were so surprised to see an 50-70 mtr length sand forsaken island in the middle, Name as local people nakupenda island ، which means I love you island (In English)♥️ جزيرة انا احبك I love the place , enjoy swimming, get some shells for memories, 🐚 they offer seafood lunch made on island as per your Budget.💰 Unfortunately after one hour , we run back to the boat ⛵ as rain was like showers 🌧️.

Located in the deep waters off Zanzibar Island, Pange Island is a must visit. The boat ride from Stone Town heading there is a proper thrill! Those waves beat up your boat thoroughly but it's definitely enjoyable as you watch the ferries as well as other thrill seekers pass you by. Absolutely loved my experience on the island. Great food, great people, great experience.
