We visited the Tree Top Walk in August, on our way out of Lake Manyara National Park. The walk is situated at the gate to the park, so it also offers toilets, a little shop and a few drink/food items for purchase, which makes it a great place to stop and have lunch. The walk is a GREAT activity! It got us out of the safari vehicle and into a forest for a relaxing (and shaded) walk in the canopy of beautiful and massive trees. The only downside, I think its pricy. We paid 54$ per person. Partly (if I remember correctly 24$ Park entry) and partly acces to the walkway. If you visit the park, might be interesting to combine.
We didn't book anything in advance and just arrived at the place during office hours. We could start the guided tour...
