Fun City Kigamboni — Attraction in Dar es-Salaam

Renovation started I’ve changed my rating

I gave five stars before but after yesterday(25 th dec 2021) visit Ive to change my review to 1 star or if allowed would have given 0 ,below points need rectify if they want old customers back:-

1)the security guards in bullet proof uniform to scare us to check bags if we carry food ,we know we r not allowed to carry foods but is this the way u treat us by scaring us

2)water bottles for kids not allowed i had to return them to car even having two kids and 2 bottles not allowed

3. placed two order of food at 1 pm and at 4 pm all food was served cold

4)changing rooms are very dirty after swimming if u want change ,so after looking at condition of changing room i have to go home in wet cloths

5. toilets are too dirty and smelly

6)to many laws to sit here and sit there at swimming are by management

7)chairs r only in swimming area for staff and restaurant rest u bring yr Matt if u want to sit

8)water in swimming area dirty with dead insects having two small kids they get scared

9)many rides were switched off or broken(out of order)

10. some kids were lost 2-3 yrs olds no staff to return to their parents as they r to busy checking food at the gate with bullet proof vest

11)tide swimming pull was not working as well

12)there was no water coming out to wash hands...

Like they named it, it is really the "Fun City". Many variety of games, water games, pools, gaint wheel and almost all the things that kids can enjoy all the day. Entry fee (Tsh.15,000) is reasonable. Exept Food and few rides like Rope Jumping(Tsh.2,500), Go Karting(Tsh.7,000), everything is free and inclusive in the Entry Fee. Prayer room is also available. Food is also available at reasaonable prices. Good parking area.

Only problem is there is no information/details listed in easy access areas for some rides. Some times we go there with kids and they tell that particular play is not available for kids under 12 or above 12. But this is not a big problem.

So kids will exhaust playing all the games all the day. Value for Money. Suitable for a...

Fun city is a great place for kids, especially if you live nearby! The facilities are well-maintained and offer a variety of activities to keep little ones entertained. However, there are few areas where improvement is needed. First, customer service could me more attentive and welcoming, particularly for locals. Second, the pricing structure could be more transparent and fair, especially for different age groups and for accessing all attractions. Currently there are additional fees for certain activities, which can be a bit disappointing. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still enjoy visiting Fun City with my family.
