Amazing rock paintings depicting early humans thousands of years ago. Also beautiful views in the unique forested highlands. Worth a visit for those who love history. It is located approximately two and a half hours drive from Dodoma.

An der Hauptstraße ist ein kleines Ticketoffice und ein Museum. Es ist insgesamt allerdings viel zu teuer. Der Eintritt kostet 27000 + 1000 Steuer. Dazu MUSS man einen Guide für 30000 buchen. Und für den PKW werden zusätzlich 5000 berechnet. Von den Kosten für den Guide, Steuer und PKW steht allerdings nirgendwo was geschrieben. Außerdem muss man 8,5 Km vom Museum fahren um die Malereien zu sehen und den Guide im Auto mitnehmen. Ich habe nur den Eintritt bezahlt und das Museum besichtigt, aber das hätte ich mir auch sparen können. Viel zu teuer für das was man sieht.
