We went in the beginning of April.
The hand of God is clearly visible in this beautiful land. Besides the Tanapa cottages, it is untouched by the destructive hands of man.
We were the only guests at the national park so it was even more peaceful and serene.
It is considered low season so even the animals were in hiding. We didnot see a simba, buffalo nor a leopard which is a shame. But other that we saw all other major animals and few that I had never seen before in my safaries.
The park bathrooms need a complete renovation and kept clean.
We stayed at the Tanapa cottage lodge. It was clean and bedding was comfortable. My only complaint would be the lizards. There were too many lizards for me to feel comfortable. Na-ah. But they provided nets over the bed so I could sleep comfortably.
2 bathrooms in the cottage which was great. We didnot have any fans or AC. I can't imagine hot weather in ruaha. April was somewhat comfortable.

The only downside is that the Tanzania government and the area member of Parliament should do something about the road to the Ruaha National Park. It's shameful to promote tourism, collect the levy, and do nothing about improving how more visitors can go there. It is very shameful, esp for the Ministry of Roads and transport.
