Very few tourists everyday, we had the whole park for ourselves for one of the days. It was amazing. If you don’t like the crowds and want to enjoy a real wild experience definitely go to Ruaha. We came in a low-season (rainy-season), but also in high-seasons (dry-season) there are not so many tourists, but that didn’t matter because we saw lots of animals - lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, monkeys and baboons, many other antelopes and even other animals that I didn’t know they even existed :). In the dry-season you can also spot the leopard or cheetah and the buffalo. We also had visitors at our accommodation. Even though it is a long drive from Iringa to the National Park gate, it is really worth it! I am grateful for...

A truly unforgettable safari experience! Ruaha National Park is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic, uncrowded, and wild safari. What sets it apart is the sense of untouched wilderness-it feels like you have the entire park to yourself, which is a rare treat.

The wildlife viewing is absolutely phenomenal, especially for predators. We were lucky enough to see multiple prides of lion, and the park is also known as a stronghold for African wild dogs and cheetahs. The concentration of elephants along the Great Ruaha River is breathtaking, and the unique landscape of baobab trees and rocky outcrops makes for stunning...

Ruaha National Park is a hidden gem in Tanzania, offering an authentic, less-crowded safari experience. The vast landscapes are home to large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and rare wild dogs. The scenery is dramatic, with baobab-dotted plains, rugged hills, and the Great Ruaha River attracting abundant wildlife. Its remoteness makes it feel wild and untouched, perfect for travelers seeking adventure and serenity. A must-visit for those who want raw, immersive safari...
