Amazing place within Moshi city! Very easy to reach by bajaji, but the last part of the rout is bumpy! Entrance fee for no residents is $10USD, like 25K TZCh. The place is really peaceful and quiet, lots of nature to see and document, at least 15 butterfly species, all of them spectac!. The hiking trails are really easy, no steep climbs, just plain walking, and trees provide amazing shade. It is a really nice outing if you are staying in Moshi and looking for a peaceful 2-3 hour forest walk far from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Colombus monkeys welcome you at the gate.The entrance fee is clearly indicated ( see picture below). We went without a guide, we really enjoyed walking on our own. You could take a guide with you for extra information on the flora and fauna, but for us it would be a little too expensive all combined. You do however have to write a disclaimer that you are your own responsibility...
