This is elephant paradise, Tarangire. You must visit if you are here in Tanzania. We had an amazing tour with Safari Soles, and you must ask for Simon aka Safari Monster. The company --Safari Soles-- is very well organized, their cars have even cell phone chargers, their food is local dishes (not sandwiches) freshly prepared in the morning. They have cold drinks, including alcohol, sodas, and fresh arabica coffee, and plenty of bottled water. Simon, their guide is super knowledgeable and kind. He knows the park, finds the animals, and tailors the trip to your liking. Book the journey with them, and ask for Simon...

Great place for safari, but the staff there couldn’t be less helpful! At the entrance gate, they were not able to provide us with a map, they were not able to give us recommendations on where to find the best spots or waterholes… and on top, the told us that the firewood at the public campsite is included - and once we arrived they wanted 40,000 shillings. What a shame. I wish there would be a better management. We have been to national parks in Kenia, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe,… and this one really stands out negatively in...

The Entrance gate of Tarangire National Park.🏞️ After arriving, while waiting for park formalities, the little one had a chance to stretch herself and enjoy short tour of exploring elephants, rhinos and buffaloes skeletons collected back in 1950’s.🤩 She played with monkeys also who are roaming freely at the entrance. Later, we resumed our day, full of game drive exploring river Tarangire and encountered many herds of African elephants. It was truly magical and an incredible safari experiences to our...

Tarangire National Park is wonderful. If you get the chance I highly recommend the walking safari with an armed ranger that leaves from this entrance. It was an amazing experience to just be out with the animals. Our walk was almost 2.5hours. We were able to experience a herd of elephants pass by. Our ranger was very cautious when we saw them but fortunately we were downwind. Dress appropriately...hard soled shoes, long pants, bug spray. All of these photos were from the walking safari.
