Ndabaka Gate — Attraction in Mara Region

Strange experience when I was here asking questions in preparation for my entry.

Cost? Cost of vehicle ? Pre purchase possible? Gate opening hours.

The following answers were both questionable and alarming. Hence I decided not to enter because if the possible inaccurate charging and allowance.

Answers: A. $70 per person B. $160 for my truck C. Not allowed D. 7am

So A seemed fine. $70 is what is posted on the internet.

Now B, was odd and definitely questionable. I understood any vehicle under 3000kg which mine is, the cost is $40. When I questioned the man on this he seemed flimsy and awkward. I dont believe he was being honest with me. He said that 0-2000 Kg was $40. But every vehicle over 2000 was $160-$170. This is not what the intended says on the official website.

Now C, yes I understand this.

Now D, the opening hours for Serengeti is 6am for all gates. This is what I understood. I asked if I could come at 6am and he said 630 would be better. (?) Then he said maybe 7 or 730am, is even better. I NOW, understand from this situation that he just wanted to sleep in.

Because of these situations, I no longer choose to use this entrance. I dont believe the information given to...

i rate 4 stars because of lack of network... This National park is awesome, but local mobile network operator doesn't install 3G or 4G in the Park so tourists can stay connected... only Airtel has 3G and is not reachable in all public camping...

Driver if you are not careful, they will keep drive you in same places... when you have going from point A to B, you will pass by Point C and then back to B then A in reverse way so you think you have been traveled long way hahahaha.... 🤣🤣🤣... i used my GPS and that's how i knew it and when i told him... he changed the way he drive us...

Make sure to do not harm animals by driving carefuly, don't feed birds or other small animal like mongoose... they will call eachother and will disturb you for your lunch...

When you got an accident in jungle... i hear that you will pay penalty of $ 200... so drive carefully

When you enter in park, make sure to exit same time as you entered according the day bought, for example: when buy entrance ticket and everything of 2 days by 12:30 on Monday, you have 48hrs, this mean you should exit 12:30...

Immediately when you enter to Serengeti Park from the West of Park from Mwanza/Victoria's Lake, you will be greeted by gazelles and little cut3 monkeys.
