Mbeya IFISI ZOO,museum and ravine — Attraction in Mbeya Region

The Ifisi Zoo is a difficult thing to rate. It isn't as impressive as big international zoos, and it doesn't compare to going to a safari park. But I always enjoy going there, and so do my kids. They have an impressive selection of animals. Hyenas, snakes, monkeys, ostrich, many kinds of birds, and much more. There is an overlook where you can see down into the Ifisi rivine, and small huts where you can rest, eat, etc. There is a small shop with snacks.

Nice zoo. Bring the children and enjoy the day. They take good care of the animals. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. They have added lots of wonderful artwork since we last visited.
