Gwata camp was a beautiful experience especially for someone who wants to unplug. Beautiful nature, decent pool (considering the water in the region is turbid). Games and activities available. Bring your own speaker for music. The food here needs improvement alot. Chef puts too much curry and doesn’t let it cook properly. Also the menu is very limited. Also they need more drinks to be available especially cold

Gwata is a real life camping experience. Meaning you are literally in the wild. Their guide is great with what to do and how to get in all the nice aesthetics. Do not go there without a power-bank if you are a content creator. Gwata itself is about an hour drive to Morogoro Town which resembles some civilization. If you are not of the wild, just go during the day. Other wise, we loved it there

My family and I had a lovely stay at Gwata Camp. It was our first time there, and we really liked it. The rooms were great, lived up to our expectations, except for the banda right next to parking. It had its pros too, so i cant complain much. The staff were amazing, Obaba being the highlight of our experience there (he takes amazing photos and he was so good to my toddler).

Gwata camp is a beautiful place for a getaway and some time off from a busy lifestyle. Dinner by the bonfire was magical, the new pool is just to die for with a beautiful view of the land.

The staff need to improve the service they provide. They do not have any training on hospitality which is crucial for creating a memorable experience for the guests. There was no hot water in the rooms, and we had to ask the staff to bring us water in buckets! Water in a bucket is not pleasant this day in age when customers are looking for comfort...

Getting there was an adventure itself! It's a perfect off grid get away! They have a very eco friendly enviroment, they mantained the natural vegitation, hence you get to see birds, butterflies etc. Food so fresh and delicious with very generous portions. Board games and drinks, and good music at the bar and restaurant. The stuff is really wonderful and kind. It's a 100% reconnection with nature. The tents are amazing, Every tent is different from the other! It's like a classy reconnection with nature. You are in for...

Just scammers!!

They tried to take money for everything.

When we arrived, we asked to see the cabins, and were told that if we decided we didn't want to stay we would have to pay for the "interview".

They asked for a special payment for serving breakfast to the tent, even though they said before it included in the price.

We were presented with a bill of 100,000 for a simple meal they said cost 8,000.

Highly recommend being...
