I recently had the privilege of joining the 1-Day Fly-In Safari to Mikumi National Park from Zanzibar with Hola Africa, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized, seamless, and stress-free. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our guide, Aristides, whose professionalism, knowledge, and passion for wildlife made the experience outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the opportunity to see as many animals as possible, carefully tracking and explaining their behaviors while making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. Thanks to Aristides’ dedication, we were able to witness lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and so much more in their natural habitat. Every moment felt special and authentic, never rushed, and always filled with valuable insights. His enthusiasm and expertise transformed what could have been just another safari into a truly educational and memorable adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend Hola Africa and especially Aristides to anyone looking for an exceptional safari experience in Tanzania. This was without a doubt one of the best travel experiences I have ever had.

My husband and I decided to book a private tour (just us two) to Mikumi National Park. We woke up at around 4:30 am at our hotel in Zanzibar and got picked up and taken to the airport in Zanzibar. We took a short one hour flight to Mikumi National Park with other people from the island that wanted to visit the mainland. We only had one day to see as many animals so my expectations weren't so high since typically people spend days going on Safari trips. I would highly recommend splurging on your own private tour because it is much more comfortable and you can choose how long you want to stay to see certain animals. It's much more flexible and relaxing. The guides were friendly and had a lot of insight about the animals. LUCKILY, we got to see a leopard, 2 prides, lions feeding on a zebra, an elephant with its baby, a nile croc, giraffes, etc. We were there such a short amount of time so I was lucky to see so much. I would recommend this safari for people who only have a limited of time and want to get the experience. Obviously not everyone is as lucky to see as many animals so just cross your fingers and try your luck :-)
