The waterfall itself was beautiful! The trek down to the bottom and back up was unexpected-- a ton of stairs! You basically just switchback down and up a giant hill for 20-30 minutes of stairs. It was a calf burner for sure. So if you don't have good knees, going to the bottom is probably not a good idea. It was beautiful scenery though along the way. At the bottom they want you to pay 5,000 tsh per person (kids are free) if you have a guide and 10,000tsh per person if you don't have a guide. It had no officiality to it though, no receipt unlike the Irente cliff view, so I question its validity. Regardless the view from the bottom is unmatched and most likely there won't be...

This place is amazing. Very short distance from the main stand Lushoto. Taking a bodaboda might cost 1,000/= per person from the stand to the place. Then you walk down a road (with a relatively unfinished house) and cross a little stream, and walk to the right side. Feel free to ask the natives and they'll happily explain how to reach the Waterfalls to you. The hike is relatively short (less than 1 hour) but very rewarding. On arrival, entrance fee is 2,000/= per person for Tanzanians. Carry your swimming costume if you are a swimmer though the area to swim is small if you love to stretch. Relax and...

Beautiful waterfall, not to miss when in Lushoto (I give 5 star for the kisasa waterfall itself) and 4 star for the management.

The area is not clean as it supposed to be. Plastic bottles everywhere, the area is now being encroached by farmers and so many dirty stuff ☹️.

But, all in all Kisasa is just Soo beautiful ❤️. I love it being there 🤩 (don't forget your hiking boots and not carry so much luggage as the hike is...

Absolutely stunning place, couldn’t tell you how much it cost as it was dealt with from our tour guide and uncle. The surrounding area was stunning, the walk down is intense, but perseverance will get you through it when you see the beauty of this wonder. The only thing that was difficult was the walk up, felt like if I was to collapse there and then I would have accepted my fate as those stairs were steep.
