First time (7Apr2023), I dropped my sons, 3 and 1.5 year-old with my parents. There was a female staff told them that ‘there is no area for small kids. This place is for 6 year-old up. And when they asked about Lego area, she said ‘it’s in the other building and you have to walk up the stairs to 3rd fl. But my parents are 70+ years old. They cannot go up the stairs with kids. We were so disappointed.
Today, I went with my kids again since they asked to go out but we didn’t have enough time to go somewhere far. I found that there are few areas and activities for young kids too. Many good books. Some staffs were friendly, some were not. And I agreed with other opinions that there are too many staffs, some are useless. At the scientific activities, kids can only join if they register online in advance which makes no sense when you have staffs and materials available but not even a single kid. Read morePublic FREE center for family and children. Operated by Bangkok Metropolitan Government Office. I visited here on the event day, so there were many activities than usual day.
Location was in Thonburi (Thung kru area) sport centers. Only bus and private car access to here. Free outdoor parking area, can park around museum building. Near KMUTT college.
Activities were all free and crowded. Children can join in scheduled time. Each about 30 minutes, some activities can reserved and some cannot.
Staffs were nice and on time in minute detail. Drinking water and all food were not allowed inside main building and no food was available. There were popcorns and beverages for free at outside corridor.
Too crowded with quite small hall. Should limit joining people for some periods. Outdoor water park was too hot to join in. Be careful about contagious infection in indoor activities.
Recommend for school-aged children. Good and many activities. Good exhibitions. Everything was...
Read moreThe water play is CLOSED on weekdays, be warned! The outdoor climbing frame is fenced off and seems to be storage for rusty equipment. There are cute model displays but only visible if you are adult height, no steps for children to be able to see. The Chatuchak children's...
