The Rak Thale Bangkhunthian Bridge, located in the Bangkhunthian district of Bangkok, is an intriguing and scenic spot that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural significance. Spanning the serene waters of the Gulf of Thailand, this bridge is more than just a practical structure; it’s a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

One of the main attractions of the Rak Thale Bangkhunthian Bridge is its stunning panoramic views. The bridge offers picturesque vistas of the surrounding mangrove forests and the expansive sea, making it an ideal spot for photography and leisurely strolls. The gentle sea breezes and the soothing sound of the waves contribute to a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

The bridge is also known for its charming, traditional architecture, which reflects the local culture and adds to its visual appeal. Visitors will find the area around the bridge to be well-maintained, with clean pathways and seating areas where you can sit and take in the scenery. The nearby fishing village and seafood markets offer a taste of local life and provide opportunities to sample fresh, delicious seafood.

While the Rak Thale Bangkhunthian Bridge is not as widely known as some of Bangkok’s other attractions, it offers a unique and authentic experience that is worth exploring. It is especially popular among those looking to experience a quieter, more scenic side of Bangkok and to connect with the local environment and culture.

In summary, Rak Thale Bangkhunthian Bridge is a hidden gem that provides a serene and picturesque setting. Whether you’re a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, this bridge offers a delightful escape and a chance to appreciate the beauty of Thailand’s...

I am glad we visited this place! Off the hustle and noise! Rent a bike and cycle to enjoy the nature and take pictures! You can also walk, if you don't mind the walking of course!

It's about 40 mins from Bangkok City by car due to traffic, otherwise it can be shorter ride.

Getting to this place by taxi or grab is easy, however if getting back to Bangkok Central after dinner may have trouble getting grab. Try getting help from restaurant to get you a transport or ride. It may cost extra 100 Baht but definitely worth the wait. Unless you drive, getting to this place via taxi or grab cab be easily 400 baht or more due to traffic and if using the highway there's an extra 50baht. Surely the journey worth the cost 🙂

There are a few bicycle rental shops along the road so you are not short of any bicycle to choose from. We selected the one right next to the bridge and are happy with their service and help.

Recommend going in the late afternoon to see the sunset if you can. Nice sunset views. The paths are...

This is one of the best places to escape from city life in Bangkok aside from Lumphini Park in central region. This place located in southern part of Bangkok provides a green and relaxation short escape. It took me about 45min riding a motorbike from Pratunam to reach here. There was a shop providing rental services of bicycle and e-bike with an affordable price. You would probably spend about 1-2 hours here in exploring local life, mangrove park, bird sightings and photo shooting. Slow down your pace and bath yourself with the beauty of nature. There was no entrance fee at the time of my visit and hopefully it remain FOC to encourage more people to visit this place. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent spray if you’re the one that easily attracted by them. If you forgot to bring, there is 7-11 shop in front of...
