I don’t understand the bad comments. Perhaps some visitors expect this to be a commercial/serviced hot spring, it’s not. This is a free hot spring in nature right next to a running river that is accessible 24H.

This is the most serene, authentic and beautiful natural hot spring I’ve been to. It’s nothing like your usual outdoor hot spring at a hot spring village or spa. It has a different feel to it, one you cannot replicate because it’s built in the middle of the forrest. I was told that this hot spring was built by the local Japanese community. It is deep in the jungle next to an animal preservation area where you’ll often see buffalo’s roaming around and grazing.

I’ve been here in the daytime as well as in the evening. The water temperature ranges from warm, hot to extremely hot and is suitable for all preferences. Nothing beats a good hot bath followed by a cool dip in the river next to it.

I’d honestly come here everyday if I could. An unforgettable experience for any...

This is a gorgeous, free hot spring area consisting of approximately 6 baths of varying warmth. They are located on a fresh, cool river to dip into if you need to cool down after being in a bath. We took water shoes for ease getting in/out of the river but you probably don’t need these if you step carefully. Also be sure to take these off before getting back into the hot spring baths.

They are being filled continuously by pipes from a nearby hot spring but expect some of them to be slightly cloudy. Also expect that there is a sulfur smell but this shouldn’t detract from the beautiful surroundings.

The locals will be going in as some of them visit daily.

There’s plenty of free parking and lots of little, local restaurants where you can get drinks and food at good prices.

We visited around 10am on a Sunday and they were quiet (3 other people) but it got quite crowded as we were leaving. Apparently early in the morning and sunset are the...

Best hot/cold spring ever We went here and were absolutely amazed, not only by the stunning scenery but also by the unique experience of moving between the hot and cold springs. The contrast in temperatures was both refreshing and relaxing, leaving us feeling completely recharged. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, with nature all around, which makes it feel like a hidden little paradise.

What made it even better was the fact that there’s free entrance, which is such a rare find for a place this special. On top of that, we were greeted by the cutest puppies when we arrived, which instantly put us in a good mood and made the whole visit feel even warmer and more welcoming.

It’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down, and you can just soak in the beauty of the moment. We would love to come back again and again, and really hope that nothing changes here—the charm of this spring is in its simplicity and...

There are two types of hot springs available. One is free of charge and is located outdoors, while the other is a private option that costs 50 THB per person for one hour. I would recommend booking the private hot spring and avoiding the public one. The water is lukewarm, so don’t expect too much from it, and you may notice a sulfur smell in the water. There are small shops nearby, but no restaurants are available. The area offers a large space for picnics and features a water stream where you can relax and perhaps read a book. You can also visit the Glamp Café on-site. It is advisable to reach the hot springs via rental car, and it's best to avoid biking there. Overall, my experience wasn't very positive; it wasn't the activity I hoped to enjoy in Chiang Mai.
