'Doi Luang Chiang Dao Viewpoint' (จุดชมวิวดอยหลวงเชียงดาว) is located in Chiang Dao National park, 20km away from Chiang Dao town that will take around 40mins drive.

The mountain road considered small and consist a lot of sharp turns and slope, so please be careful

The viewpoint over look Doi Luang Chiang Dao was so satisfy to watch. There is a famous cafe up there called 'Ban Rabieng Dao' that offers a nice angle of the mountain view (the place usually full booking, especially in the winter season)

We spent our afternoon chill with the view and a nice drink. Enjoy the moment, watching the clouds floating over the mountains before heading back to our...

So we have the viewpoint and the experience of the viewpoint. The view from this point is rather awesome. You see the valley, the mountains and whatnot. I rate it an 8/10. To get here, however, you need to drive 13 kilometers from the entrance where, as a foreigner, you pay 400 Baht to enter. It's a tricky road if you come with a motorbike. This 400 Baht gives you entry to the birdlife sanctuary and two other things, what those were, was not explained due to the man selling the tickets not speaking English. Since we were not there to view birds, we spent the 400 Baht pp just for a viewpoint. If that's all you come for, like us, it's...

My most favourite view point on Doi Luang Chiang dao , need to pay fees and i forgot how much , as is a national park here , road leading here is quite narrow and stiff , need to take extra cautious here but is worth it , but I didn't track up to the peak Doi Luang Chiang Dao, Thailand’s third tallest peak, is 2,225 metres above the sea level. There are two trails that lead hikers to the summit. If you prefer watching the beautiful sunrise and the stunning view of the sea of fog, Doi Kiew Lom Viewpoint is the right destination. However, you can also enjoy seeing both sunrise and sunset at the peak of Doi...

Nothing special, I expected more but that's just a small place. The road to here is quite simple but you'll have to pay at the entrance because this territory belongs to the national park. A price for an adult foreigner is 200 baht, and visiting this place doesn't worth it. Although I paid only 20 after showing local driving license:) Anyway, this place is kinda nice but just small. Plus, when I was there, an old man helping the coffeeshop staff was chewing betel and spitting everywhere around which was disgusting.
