Amazing! We did the morning feeding and bath experience…and then we went to see the elephants! HA, JK! King and the rest of the staff gave us the real VIP treatment with what seemed to be a private tour as we were the only ones there! Getting up close to these animals and hearing their stories how they came to this place was unreal. When it’s time to eat, you really see their personalities and animal hierarchy come out! Some are greedy and practically grab food out of your hand, and others wait on the sidelines. We fed them gourds, and sugar cane (maybe), and then got to make their vitamin supplement balls to feed them as well. After breakfast it was time for bath! Be prepared to fully jump in the fountains with them and get wet! Finally we made paper out of their droppings. Yeah, that’s right poo paper! With grass in it and everything. Take some home and give it to unsuspecting friends before telling them how you got it! But the real star of the show was the naughty little baby (Sharron?)! So cute! Just like a human toddler jumping around and causing headaches for mom! Not to brag but the mom gave me a sloppy wet kiss on the cheek! We laughed and had so much fun all morning, but at the end of the day, this was a heartwarming and eye opening experience to spend time with these amazing souls that was well beyond worth it! We even came home with elephant...

A Wonderful Experience at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary

Visiting the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary was truly an enriching experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this sanctuary prioritizes the well-being and ethical treatment of its elephants above all else.

The staff at the sanctuary are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about elephant welfare. They take the time to educate visitors on the history of the elephants in their care, the challenges they’ve faced, and how the sanctuary is helping to rehabilitate and support them.

One of the highlights was feeding and bathing the elephants. It was such a joy to see them interact so naturally with us and each other—calm, playful, and obviously happy. The hands-on activities were conducted with the utmost respect for the animals, and at no point did it feel invasive or forced.

The sanctuary also emphasizes sustainability and works closely with local communities, creating a ripple effect of positive change for both people and wildlife.

I left with a deep sense of admiration for the sanctuary’s efforts and a newfound respect for these incredible animals. If you are looking for an ethical, educational, and heartwarming way to experience elephants, the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is the place to go. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to make a difference while creating...

We visited the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Chiang Mai and it was a truly wonderful experience. Our guide, On, was simply amazing: not only is she a beautiful person, but she was also extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging. She speaks excellent English, which made everything easy to follow and even more enjoyable.

Thanks to her, we learned so much about the history and life of the elephants, while also creating unforgettable memories spending time with these incredible animals. Having such a competent and caring guide by our side really made all the difference, and she always made us feel comfortable.

It’s an experience we would highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover the beauty of nature and enjoy a genuine encounter with elephants. Thank you On, you truly made our day...
