One of the biggest issues I have with the park, which has been noted in a number of other reviews, is the steep entry price for foreigners. The last time I was there (summer 2017) they were charging 300 baht for foreigners and 50 baht for Thais and foreign residents. Another irritating aspect of Fang Hot Springs is that the infrastructure has been allowed to noticeably decay. The place clearly receives little funding for upkeep - a problem that seems to plague most government funded projects in Thailand. But for me the scenery makes the park worth visiting at least once. The view of the (semi) natural springs scattered across the landscape is quite striking.

While there are no real trails for hiking, there are a few activities to keep a family busy for a good half day or so. My favorite thing to do is to boil eggs in one of the larger pools. It shouldn't be difficult to find an egg seller somewhere, just ask one of the staff in the visitor's center for directions. There are also numerous private, man-made pools that can be rented that are big enough for several people to bath in at a time. If you are feeling adventurous, you could also play in the river that runs through the park. This seems to be a popular activity for the local children, but occasionally I see adults...

Lied about services then refused to refund *

I came here to camp and relax after a long day of riding. I asked the man at the entrance fee station if there was camping, and he said yes. I paid and went to the visitor centre (which is accessible only after you've paid), only to be told there is no camping. Or hiking. The only things available were the bath and sauna, and expensive bungalows for families.

I explained I'd only come to camp, and that I'd asked at the fee station and been told there was camping, and asked for a refund. They talked and laughed among themselves for literally about 30 minutes, ignoring me. I asked a couple more times, and finally they said no refund; the money was for their services. The younger guy did look a little apologetic/sympathetic, whereas the older guy just seemed to sneer at me, as if I was an ** (fill in the blank yourself) for even asking.

Very disappointing, and a waste of 300B. As there was no affordable accommodation nearby and it would be almost dark by the time I reached any, I had to leave without even trying the limited services that cost...

Bring some eggs, a basket, and a string. Go there, boil some eggs. The eggs that are boiled using this water are super yummy.

Take some time, enjoy the place, soak in their hot spring, and just relax. Forget about all the buzzing life you had back home.

Call the massage person if you are looking for some massage. It's dirt cheap, it's legit massage and not those happy kind yeah so don't get your hope up.

Normal Thai massage, 1hr only 150 baht, I don't think you can ever find such price in the city. Oil, I forgot, I think it's about 399, which I still feel is very worth it, never the less.

Hot spring they have the mixed pool and the individual private room which in my opinion its only comfortable for 2 to 3pax max. Do not stay more then 20mins as you may faint due to the high temperature. Warning given yeah. Don't blame me if you fainted.

Tickets can be bought at the front, don't have to buy in advance incase you got...

Great Hot Spring and nice natural spa. With public bathing possibility or a private pool within a nice looking cabana. Enjoy the hot water, have a cozy chat and be together with your family or friends. The place is beautiful, well designed and seriously looked after and kept well. Have been to other hot springs as well but the one in Fang is really the best. With the new government there are more rules and one is that foreigners are no Thais, resulting in a completely balanced entrance fee hahaha. Thai people pay 50 baht and foreigners pay 300 baht. Have a visit, enjoy your time there and the beautiful scenery. Like I said the best spa/spring that I know in Thailand.

The hot springs park is spacious and well-maintained, with lovely camping areas and various natural hot springs and baths to enjoy. However, I feel somewhat misled about the "famous geyser" that's heavily advertised. What they don't tell you is that it's actually just a hidden pipe behind rocks, artificially creating steam - not a natural geyser at all. While the facilities and thermal pools are nice, and the grounds are beautiful, I wish they were more honest about the geyser being man-made rather than marketing it as a natural phenomenon. It's still a decent place to visit for the hot springs experience, but don't come expecting to see a real geyser.

Amazing place but they need to tell foreigners that only one public pool is available due to renovations before they pay 300 baht. To add to this the only public pool available was boiling!! Mere mortals could not enter it in the morning. So I was left with not even being able to soak in a hot spring!! I found a solution to go to a private pool free of charge after my complaints and they agreed that’s why I’m giving 3 stars not 2. BE MORE TRANSPARENT AND TELL PEOPLE WHAT IS GOING ON BEFORE THEY PAY! IT’S CALLED HONESTY. GET SIGN MADE SAYING “ONLY ONE PUBLIC POOL AVAILABLE DUE TO RENOVATIONS.”
