I give this 5 stars although it is far from luxurious.. however.. they offer decent food and drink at a good price and the fishing is very reasonable... they have a big pool with massive fish which are pretty easy to catch but you have to release them back to the water and then there is another pool where it might take an hour or two to catch a decent fish which you can take home at an extra cost of 100 baht / Kilo if I remember correctly. I think the rods (different between big and small pool) cost about 300 baht all day although 3 hours total was enough for a great experience.... if you get lucky... befriend the young lad who I guess is the son of the owners or at least of the restauarant/ bar owners... there is nothing he doesn't know about fishing and he will catch you some live bait which works well in the small pool... tip him well... he...

Don't let go of your fishing pole! They'll definitely take it into the water with them!
As long as you get the hang of keeping your bait/bread on the hook, you're guaranteed to catch a fish! These fish are big and hungry!
I came in the morning so they were hungry and more likely to bite.
