Went on the 9am tour, coming from Chiang Mai we left the city at around 7am and got there at 8/8:15am, we enjoyed our packed breakfast on their little terrace with the main building. The team welcomed us warmly and kindly to enjoy our food and wait before the start.

Toilets and changing rooms are available at the main building and throughout the visit, clean with toilet paper and bidet.

The tour was from 9 am to 12:30 pm, and was divided into 4 stations (stops), I won't tell you more to leave some surprises).

The team looking after the elephants are absolutely adorable, very informed on elephant care, and it shows that they are here to protect them. All the elephants in this sanctuary only do 4 things during the day: sleep, eat, wash themselves, and poop (the care team words!).

The team was so friendly and really wanted everyone to appreciate the beauty of these wonderful animals.

Little souvenir shop at the main building on the side of the road.

Highly recommend visiting.

To organise transport from Chiang Mai go to a tourist office and show them where it is and they'll quote you a price, for 2 people in a relatively comfortable car the price was about 2500thb for us. The driver picked us up from our hotel, drove us there, waited for us, and then drove us back to the hotel once...

What an amazing experience for all of the family.

We chose the overnight option and it was worth every penny there were only 5 of us there I think due to it being low season so it was an extremely personal experience for us all. We are a family of 3 daughter is 12 we felt safe and looked after at all times.

The tours guides/keepers were very knowledgeable about each elephant ensuring that education is shared in the right way and their passion shines through.

We were lucky that the other guests were good fun and easy to be around.

We were cooked for by the locals outstanding food, alongside visits from wandering elephants throughout the day and night we were there.

The most special part for us was the morning when my daughter was woken with two elephants at the window.

This is an experience we will never ever forget.

Please also book this trip direct as get your guide and oulther agent desks take a cut of the much needed money for...

The tour was incredibly well-organized, offering a perfect balance of activities. The morning started with an amazing elephant experience—just us (5 people) and another group of two people. We had the chance to feed, pet, and bathe the elephants in a calm and intimate setting, which made it truly unforgettable.

Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious traditional lunch, included in the package. In the afternoon, we visited the Doi Suthep Temple, where our guide Ronnie did a fantastic job explaining everything with enthusiasm and humor.

The day ended with a visit to another nearby temple, reached via a 20-minute downhill walk along the “Monk’s Trail,” a dirt path.

Overall, thanks to our guide Ronnie, it was an excellent experience that I would highly...
