A beautiful hot spring park maintained by the National park rangers. 100 baht for tourists to enter. There are two pools at 50C+ that obviously are out of bounds, but they feed in to two pools where you can bathe. One is hotter than the other, but there isn’t a sign to say how hot they are. They’re relatively shaded and the hottter of the two pools is quite murky, but still pleasant. They are both very slippery to access so be careful. There is no strong smell of sulphur here. On my visit, it was raining so I was all alone. It was almost perfect, had it not been for the man with the grass trimmer working right next to me, hence losing an overall star. Perhaps it’s best to do the noisy work out of hours, when people aren’t trying to relax. Other than that though, a very enjoyable session. Beautiful scenery and evidentially well maintained gardens. Showers, toilets and changing rooms available. Towels and swimwear available to hire. Camping is also available but I’m unsure whether this means you can access the...
Read moreEntrance is not very inviting and the path leads to the pools (the source) that are forbidden to swim in as they are very hot (over 50 degrees), and they look dead. The dipping hot pools are to the right handside of the path; you'll see the cabins for the shower/changing rooms. The pools are just at the right temperature, very nice and no smell of sulfur. The shower heads no longer have the spray piece to them, so water comes out as if it was from a hose pipe, not a strong one either. But fresh cold water, nice to counter the warm/hot water. There's another area with a swimming pool and better looking rest rooms/changing facilities but they were not in use. Entrance is 100 baht per person (foreigners) and 20 baht/person for Thai nationals. Tickets also admit entry to Sri Sangwan Waterfall/Pha Dang...
Read moreThe ticket for Pong Arng hot spring can be used at Sri Sang Wan waterfall too. This is quite worth it.
The area at hot spring is very well maintained and clean. They provide the spots for visitors to enjoy the hot spring. We were there during weekdays so not many people. Usually we always smell very strong sulfur but surprisingly it’s not strong smell here at all.
There are bathrooms for you next to the hot springs so you can get changes or go to toilet easily. Just be aware that it’s quite slippery inside the hot springs.
If you don’t feel like to bath in hot springs, you can just walk around and enjoy scenery. There are other hot springs which not allowed to use so you can...
