Our family had such a fun day and this ended up being one of our favourite family activities in Thailand. Surprisingly, we spent 5 hours and the time flew by. Our older kids (age 7 and 9) were very engaged and didn't want to leave! There are so many displays and interactive activities, and we were grateful that there was quite a lot of English in the displays. The only thing that was lacking English was the movie in the planetarium. It seemed like it might be in English, as there were some English titles when the movie first started. However, all the audio was in Thai (even when the speaker was speaking English), and there were only English subtitles for a few minutes. We noticed afterwards that the ticket sign says there are English movies on Friday at 11am only. We were impressed that admission is free, with a minor charge if you want to see a movie. There is a convenient restaurant on-site that has a beautiful view and a children's play area (with a trampoline, punching bag, and assorted toys). Read moreWe went to see stars. You can do it for free every Saturday 6-10pm. We arrived at 6:30 and it took us 1 hour to reach the main telescope. We saw Saturn and its two settelites. Looks good but very smol :(
On the way to the main telescope, on the second floor, you can find smaller telescopes and use them. It was a cloudy day and we couldn't see anything with small telescopes.
