This Restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden which you can freely walk through with some local produce on sale as well. You have a large Thai food menu with limited western options, but has good drink selection including coffee and also some delicious cakes. There is easy free parking here as well. It’s about a 30 minute drive out of Chiang Mai city Centre into the mountains. The coffee and drinks we ordered were nice and the cakes were delicious. I do want to come back here and have a full meal next time but we did take a nice walk around the gardens. See my tiktok TTSWThailand for a video...

Must try their famous fried chicken! āļāļĢāļāļšāļ™āļāļāļ™āļļāđˆāļ™āđƒāļ™ āļāļĢāđˆāļāļĒāļ—āļĩāđˆāļŠāļļāļ” Don't let the look fool you! Yes, the food here looks plain and not fancy but the taste is such mouth-watering everytime I thought about it. I even bought a take away for mum at home (after heated up still very delicious)! All Tum(s)/Soup(s) are very good. It is my second time here. My favour is Tum Saab! Spicy, rejoyful and still earthly traditional: with just enough organic herbs that anyone can slurp down, easily even for western. Sorry krub .

the bad news is we're here in September., not the season for most flowers due to rain & heat. of the ones that we are able to see, there are some nice blooms but not many exotic or from temperate (cooler) weather. it's very clean and well organized and the military on duty (royal facility) are kind & courteous. it's a bit out of the way so the road getting there is challenging though not treacherous - just drive carefully. you'll need to wear or rent long pants (~ 20 bahts) to go inside the garden. hopefully we can come back in the right season to enjoy its full potential.
