Had an amazing time on this tour with our guide “king”. Everything was a breeze from booking, pickup, walking up the hill with the elephants, lunch and transport back to our hotel. The lunch had more than just the papaya salad which was an awesome surprise to us. Definitely bring bug spray and wear good footwear. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting some mud on. If you want to make king happy ask him about his favorite restaurants in the city. Also we lucked out and only had 2 other ppl on our tour in the off season. Highly recommend!

This elephant program is run by a passionate and energetic owner who's goal is to provide a kinder and more humane option for visitors looking for an intimate elephant encounter. The program does not use hooks and the guests walk with the elephants to the jungle where they spend the day grazing for natural food. Guest also get the opportunity to go tubing down the Mae Taeng river, hike to a waterfall and bathe and feed the elephants tasty fruits.

Excellent experience. The walk through the jungle with the elephants was highlight of my visit to Thailand. The guilds were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The elephants were gentle, smart and accepting.

We had an amazing experience here in July 2022. We got to feed elephants, walk in the forest with them, and bathe them at the end! The lunch was also pretty good.

If you’re looking to visit elephant nature park, you won’t visit on this excursion, so keep that in mind.

That being said, we really got to get up close and personal with two elephants for the whole day, which was so nice. It also feels like the caregivers are conscientious of what the elephants want. For example, they told us that since it was a rainy day, the elephants might not want to go in the river and if they didn’t want to, we would need to respect that, which showed they won’t force the elephants to do things just to please us. Thankfully though, it warmed up by the end and we did get to go in the river with them.

Our guide Ban Cha was had a lot of experience and knowledge about this project, the park as a whole, elephants, and even the...

What an amazing day! Our travel agent booked us with Sunshine for Elephant, and little did we know, we were in for a treat! We had an amazing day with the elephants, feeding them, walking with them, washing them, as well as enjoyed a delicious vegetarian lunch. We were joined by two other couples which was a great size. The staff were very friendly and took photos of us all day long! This excursion really exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful, ethical day with...
