The journey up by motorbike is quite difficult for first trying. But the flower garden at the top is forbidden to take up by yourself. Because the road is very narrow and steep. There is a service fee of 50 baht per aldult person. This service fee includes admission to the flower bed. Considered to help support the villagers.

The plot has food and water service. but the price is a little high If it's not serious, it's considered to support the villagers. It is recommended to eat before going up.

That converts quite well. There is a raised walkway around the flower bed. Very tall, anyone afraid of heights is advised not to go up and walk. but if one is not afraid will get a good view

Very beautiful flower beds It seems to switch to planting seasonally. A lot of flowers were planted. You can choose a beautiful photo angle. But there will be only 3 types of flower: main kind is lavender (violet ), there will be 2 other in red and white also but not sure about their name. If you wants to see many types of flowers, they might have to go somewhere else.

There will be a step up stairway in white, where you can go up and have a whole view of the garden.

It had better to go arround 7-11 Am and 3-6 Pm, because at that time the sunshine will be enough for your photo shots. You shall try to stay there to view sunset, the gold/rose light from the sun will make the view after the mountain...

Location: On a hill. The road going up is quite steep. Riding motorcycle is not recommended unless you are quite proficient with it. A 1200cc car with two people can climb it but larger car is recommended it you have more passengers. Parking on nursery below and walk up is quite doable too. I took 15 minutes walk going up with my wife. They have a shuttle but it seemed they only had it on high season. Even you have shuttle bus to pick you up or drive up yourself, the place is not wheelchair accessible. Service: No professional staff in site only a family on the entrance who collected 50 THB per person. Note that foreigners following us a few minutes later just strolled in without paying and she didn't seem to care. Atmosphere: The place was in quite terrible state when we visited. While there are flowers there, they were withering. Only purple ones remained, other colours were gone. Mywife didn't get many good shots from there. Actually, we got much better shots from our hotel garden than this place. Shops: Only a few supposedly handmade items and wine were on sell. Nothing remarkable. Facilities: Toilets were terrible. It was barely functioning (but still usable). Seasonality: Unless you come in high season (December - January) don't put...

"During my vacation in Chiang Mai, I visited many tourist attractions, including a flower garden in Mae Rim, near the mountains, which my wife had been eager to see. However, our experience didn't quite live up to the hype. Despite being heavily promoted on social media, the garden failed to impress.

One of the major letdowns was the parking situation. We weren't clearly informed about the parking options, and we ended up parking 100 meters before the garden, which added to our confusion. If you drive all the way up, parking is free, but if you park at the bottom, you'll have to pay. To make matters worse, there were extra props available, but they came with an additional fee.

Personally, I didn't enjoy our visit to this garden as much as I had hoped. Considering the overhyped promotion, I would recommend exploring alternative options in the area. If you're looking for a similar experience, you might want to try Pang Hwa instead. It's worth considering other options to make the most of your time in Mae Rim.
