This place has a hilly terrain with stunning landscapes, well worth a visit. Singha Park Chiang Rai is also called Boon Rawd Farm. The word Singha means Lion, Singha beer is a very popular beer brand in Thailand and the world over. This park is however more about tea and other tasty products such as juices and jams. These are part of the Boon Rawd Farm brand.

The first stop on the tour is a swan lake with thousands of fish and a small coffee bar. Next up are beautiful tea plantations, a petting zoo and many more activities. You can even do zip lining if you want. There might be activities happening in the Farm Fest area. Check the events calendar to see what is currently running.

In low season and/or during working days the bus (looks like a stretched tuk tuk) only rides on demand. You may have to wait for a certain number of people to arrive before the bus will depart from the entrance. It will do a 90-minute tour with 15-minute stops. On these days it is probably better to rent a bicycle or golf cart in order to be more flexible in where you want to go. The roads are fairly narrow and it is pleasant to drive. In high season and during weekends you do not have to wait for the bus, the hop on hop off busses drive continuously and you can stop at every activity as long or short as you like.

There are two restaurants in the park, the one serving traditional Thai food is situated on a hill and overlooks the tea plantations. Most dishes are either steamed or deep-fried. The second restaurant serves western food and is situated on the flat terrain next to the Farm Fest area. Expect a menu that has mostly pizzas.

When driving yourself, by bicycle or golf cart, you may notice the lack of signage. The supplied map helps somewhat, but finding the right route to the restaurant on the hill turned out to be quite a challenge. At first we ended up at the rear entrance and kitchen staff directed us to drive around. The route around did actually take a long time with roads going further away from the hill. When you hit the tunnel you need to stay up, not go down. Turn left onto the wider road and after a while turn left again to go up the hill from the...

My visit to Boon Rawd Farm in Chiang Rai was an adventure from the start. Arriving at 1 pm via Grab, the hot weather added a touch of challenge to the exploration. The expansive farm, known for its picturesque landscapes, felt like a haven despite the scorching sun.

The main highlight was the opportunity to capture stunning photos of the iconic statues on the premises. The intricate details and cultural significance of these sculptures added a layer of enrichment to the visit. However, due to a small oversight, I couldn't rent a golf cart – a lesson learned about always carrying an ID. The promise to return with the necessary identification for a golf cart rental adds anticipation for the next visit.

Despite the minor setback, the experience was positive. The farm's vastness allowed for a pleasant walk, providing a closer connection to nature. The greenery and serenity of the surroundings served as a reminder of the beauty that unfolds in unexpected places.

For future visits, a golf cart rental is on the agenda, promising a more comprehensive exploration of Boon Rawd Farm's expansive landscapes. The farm holds the potential for an even richer experience, promising a blend of nature, culture, and...

Visited here for the 1st time. Just want to see how it was since there are many blogger s talked about this and recommend to visit.

Don't have to pay for the entrance fee. However, if you want to go inside and look around the farm, they provide the tram tour -- there are 4 stops in total. For each stop, you can hop off to take photos and hop on in the next tram. If you don't want to hop off, just stay on the tram. After took the tour, it's just so so for us -- nothing attracts us. Maybe, it's not the right time to visit there. "I think" it would be better if visiting there during the balloon festival.

By the way, the tour costs about āļŋ100 per person (or approximately US$3.50...

To go to the farm you go to Singhra park. You can buy a bus ticket that drops you off at various points for 150 baht. There’s a swan lake, a petting zoo where you can feed zebras & see rabbits & other small animals. You also get to stop at the tea plantation and sample some tea. The bus comes every 15 minutes to each point. Lovely experience
