The park comes in its full glory during the annual Chiangrai Flower Festival! This was a spectacular experience, and I loved every second of it. Please do visit this place during the festival, it's held every year around 16 Dec up until the first week of January.
The park is decorated with beautiful flowers, lights, installations and laser shows. There are smoke/mist vaporizers spread across the park which add a "mystic" feel during the festival. The lights and sounds add a wonderful feeling —almost like a fairyland! All this for free entry—no tickets! Love it! There are food stalls and cloth stalls outside the flower festival, too, in case you're interested to do a shopping spree.

Read moreWe went on 4th January 25 at almost at the end of Chiang Rai Flower and Art Festival ,which annually organises from mid Dec to early Jan. The theme is different every year.
The park was full of flower blooming and with low temp make it a must visit spot during the season. The art work changes every year and this year there supposed to be a spectacular light display in the evening. But we did not have time to visit it again at night.
The entry is free. There is plenty of parking space and many food / local craft stalls on the way to the park.
