Hydrangea-san — Attraction in Chiang Rai Province

"Hydrangea San" at the Million Dollar View Flower Park on Mae Mon Mountain, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Rai, is another must-visit landmark for anyone exploring Chiang Rai. The journey is not far from the city center, and it's recommended to use a vehicle with an engine of 1500cc or higher for a smoother ascent. The road is concrete, and the garden is accessible but not overly extensive. While it's not very steep, cautious driving is advised. Upon reaching the garden, there is a parking area with an entrance fee of 80 Baht. The garden provides water for visitors, and once there, you can find great spots for photography. Went on the last day of last month (they aren't always open as they need to maintain the flowers, comparative very little crowd, there is a fee to enter. Go in the early mornings for the misty feel. On the last days some flowers start wiltering but generally it's acceptable. There are saplings for purchase. No cafe though, though hot water is available for mama (instant noodles).
