The name "Rai Choen Tawan" translates to "Inviting the Sun," symbolizing inviting enlightenment to guide life. The sun is analogous to wisdom, dispelling darkness. When wisdom manifests in the heart of an individual, ignorance dissipates. Thus, Rai Choen Tawan serves as a spiritual training ground to transcend the dark realms of life and attain a state of "enlightenment like the sun."
As Phra Maha Wuthichai wrote in his poetry:
"Inviting the sun, a rainbow spreads, radiance Inviting the art of science and poetry, the sky turns colorful Inviting the jewel of nature, a single drop of water Inviting the Buddha's teachings, a fragrant heart blossoms"
Within the Vipassana International Meditation Center, Rai Choen Tawan, there are sections for visitors to explore, each designed to provoke thought and serve as a guide for life. These include the V.
