Read moreWhile we were staying in Pattaya we visited the Dolphin show. We had our 7 year old & we were looking for things to do. We arrived & parked the car in the free car park, plenty of spaces. If you’re on a bike there is a bike parking place. We went for the morning show which starts at 11am. There is an afternoon show that starts at 2pm but thought the earlier one would be less hot with the sun not fully overhead. We arrived about 10.30am. We bought our tickets & opted for the central VIP area. 2 Thai adults 1 Thai child & me the Farang from the UK. Think I paid about 2,300bt. You can sit at the sides for less & still see everything. It was nice to be head on facing the stage. While you wait to go in there is a cafe but we didn’t go in. We entered into the pool arena & sat down around 10.50. There are large fans around which helped to keep cool. If you choose to sit on the front rows you will get splashed with the water. They do provide a thin plastic covering should you want to wear. We sat 3 rows back & didn’t get wet. The show starts with a Sea Lion act which was good for about 10 minutes. Then the Dolphin show begins. There are 3 Dolphins. They are very clever to be able to do what they do. Learning the tricks. Balancing the girl on the end while swimming around the pool is very good. The Dolphins look like they enjoy performing. After 45 minutes the show ends & you are invited to have your photograph taken with a Dolphin for an extra charge. We declined & left so make use of the rest of the day. Yes it’s expensive but I guess the upkeep of the animals & their welfare is quite costly. The staff & crew that work on the show are very good. If you can afford it for an hour I would say it is very entertaining. Would I go again,...
