When visiting the aquarium, please be aware that only cash payments are accepted, so it's advisable to come prepared with the necessary cash for entry and any additional purchases. Comfortable footwear is highly recommended, as you will be walking around for an extended period. The aquarium is expansive, and comfortable shoes will make your visit much more enjoyable. Inside the aquarium, there are small food stalls offering quick snacks. However, if you're looking for a more relaxing and aesthetically pleasing experience, just outside the aquarium, you'll find a café that has a very charming atmosphere. The café offers a variety of food options, all reasonably priced, and provides a great place to take a break during your visit. Don't forget to try the cold and hot beverages—they are quite popular among visitors and provide a refreshing treat. The aquarium is a great destination for people of all ages. It's a fantastic place for families, children, and animal lovers alike. The well-maintained cages house a wide range of animals, including birds, reptiles, and mammals. As you enter, you'll immediately notice a couple of exotic birds, such as parrots, owls, and eagles, all on display. These birds are typically housed in large, open enclosures, allowing them to move freely and be observed in a naturalistic setting. Moving forward, you'll find several species of rodents and monkeys. These animals are also kept in spacious enclosures that mimic their natural habitats, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about their behaviour and characteristics. In some areas of the aquarium, there are interactive experiences where you can feed certain animals for an additional charge, which can be a memorable experience for visitors, particularly children. As you continue your tour, you'll come across a wide variety of aquatic species, with one of the most exciting highlights being the water tunnel. This tunnel is home to a variety of saltwater fish, offering an immersive experience as you walk through and observe the fish swimming around you on all sides. At the end of the aquarium, you'll encounter a fascinating display of various types of turtles, frogs, and snakes. This section provides insight into these unique creatures, many of which have specialized adaptations to their environments. Whether you're interested in reptiles or amphibians, this section is sure to captivate your attention. Overall, the aquarium is a must-visit attraction, with something for everyone. Whether you're fascinated by exotic birds, curious about aquatic life, or intrigued by reptiles and amphibians, the variety of species on display makes it a diverse and educational experience. It's a great place to explore, learn, and appreciate the...

Monster Aquarium Pattaya is a family-friendly attraction located in Pattaya that offers an exciting and educational experience, especially for children and animal lovers. Combining both an aquarium and a zoo, it provides a unique opportunity to explore a variety of aquatic and terrestrial creatures up close.

Aquatic Exhibits: The aquarium section is home to a wide range of fish species, from vibrant tropical fish to more unusual aquatic creatures like eels and rays. The tanks are well-maintained, and the exhibits are designed to showcase different aquatic environments, allowing visitors to learn about various ecosystems. One of the main attractions is the giant fish tank, where large fish species, such as arapaima, swim gracefully, mesmerizing both kids and adults alike.

Monster Creatures: As the name suggests, Monster Aquarium focuses on more than just regular fish. It features some exotic and rare animals, including large reptiles like crocodiles, snakes, and even giant tortoises. There are also unusual creatures such as giant bugs, making it a fascinating spot for those curious about animals that are typically less spotlighted in traditional zoos.

Interactive Zones: A highlight of Monster Aquarium is its interactive zones, where visitors can feed some of the animals, including fish and birds. These areas are especially popular with children, providing a hands-on experience that helps them connect more deeply with the animals. There's also a petting zoo where you can get up close with friendly animals like goats, rabbits, and deer.

Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The layout of Monster Aquarium is designed to be easy to navigate, with clear signage and enough space for families to move comfortably. The attraction is well-suited for children, with informative displays and opportunities for interaction, making it both educational and entertaining. The staff are friendly and available to answer any questions about the animals.

Facilities: The attraction has basic amenities, including a café and souvenir shop where you can grab a bite to eat or purchase mementos of your visit. While the aquarium is not as large as some of the more famous aquariums, it offers a cozy and engaging experience.

Overall Impression: Monster Aquarium Pattaya is a fun and engaging attraction, perfect for families and animal lovers. Its blend of aquatic exhibits, exotic animals, and interactive experiences makes it a unique place to visit. Although it may not be as large or as modern as some other aquariums, the variety of animals and the opportunity for interaction make it a worthwhile stop for those...

Don't be put off by the sight of the parking lot or the facade of the building, there are lots of hidden treasures inside.

Without checking the Google map before hand, I thought I got ripped off by a warehouse looking aquarium with a stinky petting zoo upfront.

I'm so glad that we didn't walk out after the petting zoo. The staff said there are alot more inside. And....sure there was more, a whole lot more.

There are exotic animals, reptiles, snakes, fish and birds.

There were lots and lots more than what I thought they had. The kids really love it.

A thought of a 5 minutes walk turned into 2 hours of fun for the whole family.

The fish feeding/fishing was fun.

The aquarium has a local feel and workmanship to it, wall paper peeling off, cleanliness of the area, health of some animals. But you have to think that this place was built for tourists and for the past 2 years of COVID there aren't any tourist, only the locals. The overhead cost for this place must be quite high. It's amazing that they can still keep the place well maintained to a certain level.

If you are in Pattaya, drop by to visit you won't be...

To be completely honest, it was hard to see the animals in the conditions they were in. It was way too hot for a lot of the mammals. Capybaras are pack animals and they only had one who didn't look too happy. Most of the animals, especially fish, were oddities or had some kind of deformity. There were several 2-headed turtles, chickens with more than 2 legs, and many fish with crooked spines. The entrance fee included 2 tokens that could be spent on food to give the rabbits and Guinea pigs or a fishing rod for the arapaima. I believe you could also use tokens on photos with the owls and eagle. Overall, it was interesting but it seems like they don't care for the health and welfare of the animals.

It's one of the best aquariums I've ever visited! There's a huge variety of species, not only from the sea, but also land animals, so it's like being in a tiny zoo. You will be extremely close to giant, scary and menacing creatures, but also to tiny, cute and harmless ones. For example, you will have the chance to take a photo with a snake on your neck! You can also feed these animals by buying some food from the staff. Ticket's price is affordable and there's no time limit. There are a few stalls and a bar if you want to buy food or fresh drinks, because it's a bit hot inside. I absolutely suggest you give this zoo/aquarium a try. It's perfect for a lovely day with your family!

I don’t understand the enthusiasm for this place. While the zoo appears large, the space is inadequate for the number of species it houses. Many enclosures seem too small, leaving the animals with limited room to move. The heat only adds to the issue—several animals remain still, likely due to discomfort. Some fish even exhibit erratic swimming patterns, a possible sign of stress. Some animals were barely moving. You will also notice that animals are not always well taken care of (fur, body shape, water in the tank etc). Overall, it was a disappointing and concerning experience.
