Nang Ram Beach — Attraction in Chon Buri Province

The Nang Ram Beach in Sattahip, Thailand, has something for everyone if you're seeking a quiet escape or a family-friendly outing near Pattaya City. The Nang Ram Beach is conveniently located approximately 30 kilometers from the famous resort city of Pattaya. It can be easily reached by driving your car, a taxi, or a hired car. The entrance fees to the beach are pretty reasonable, but they charge different prices for foreign travelers (Baht 20 for locals and 50 Baht for Foreigners). There is a fair amount of criticism surrounding the country for this double-standard practice of charging extra fees for foreigners, specifically in the national parks. It has often been a contentious issue among tourists, expats, and even among the local Thai communities. This does not paint a good picture of being a welcoming, modern, friendly, fair, and equitable nation without making such a distinction. This archaic practice relatively holds no water in the contemporary epoch.

On weekends and public holidays, come early or end up in the traffic and arrange for parking and a sitting zone on the crowded beach. The crystal-clear turquoise waters gently lapping against the soft white sand created a picture-perfect postcard view. The beach was clean, with no debris or litter—good, efficient efforts by the local navy and public in maintaining its natural beauty.

Relax on the beach by renting the chairs and tables, a package of Baht 300 for four chairs, and a coffee table under the Casuarina trees and huts. You could also rent mats and other accessories, plus kids' toys and floating accessories. Stay safe during high tides and partake in a leisurely swim. Simply taking a peaceful walk along the shoreline at the Nang Ram Beach provides the ideal setting to do so.

Bring your food and drinks like the locals do, or there are restaurants and also a stretch of food court center where you could buy all Thai Seafood and the prices depending on the product. The beach also offers a range of facilities to enhance your experience. There are relatively clean and well-maintained pay-to-use bathrooms, shower facilities, and even designated picnic spots for visitors to enjoy. There are lifeguards to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone to enjoy the water activities.

If you're looking for a break from the beach, there are nearby beaches, Thai Seafood restaurants, and attractions worth exploring. The Wat Yansangwararam, a stunning Buddhist temple, and the picturesque Nong Nuch Tropical Botanical Garden are just a short distance away.

A note to remember: as this is a secured defense area, in the evening, all tourists have to exit the beach before 18:00. So appreciate the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the nature, and reduce plastic waste and litter. On the weekdays the beach is lifeless and one can enjoy...

Beautiful cozy beach. Crystal clear water. A lot of trees on the beach spend enough shadow.

The entrance for the beach is 20 THB for coming with the motorbike or 40 THB for coming by car. It doesn't matter if 2 people on the bike or only just one it is always 20 THB. For the car same only 40 THB.

There is no need to register, no need to fill out any form.

Don't forget, if you visit the beach by motorbike you need to wear a helmet.

You can bring your own drinks and food to the beach.

Smoking at the beach is not allowed. Any way there are smoking areas.

At the end of the beach is a lovely coffee shop.

If you are coming with your children they will love the crystal clear water.

เพิ่งได้ไปอีกครั้งในรอบ โห15ปีได้ เป็นหาดที่เคยมาสมัย ม.3 มากับโรงเรียนเข้าค่ายศิลปะ หาหาดนี่หาตั้งนานลืมชื่อหาด พอวันนี้มาอีกครั้งจำเกาะกลางทะเลข้างหน้าได้ที่เคยวาดรุปสมัยเด็ก จำบ้านพักได้ ยังเหมือนเดิม หาดนางรำ นี่เอง ได้กับมาอีกครั้ง ในรอบนี้ มีลูกและภรรยามาด้วย ความทรงจำสมัยเด็ก หายไป กับความไม่ประทับใจในวันนี้ ไม่ใช่ไม่ดีนะ แต่ไม่ควรจะรีบเกินไปไหม

พอไกล้ หกโมงเย็น 1.หกโมงเย็น ทหารเดินไล่ คนให้ขึ้นน้ำแล้ว (ที่อื่นๆฟ้าเริ่มมึดถึงให้ขึ้น บางคนมาถึงไม่กี่นาที เสียค่าเข้า เต็ม20บาท แต่ได้ถ่ายรูปแปปเดียว) 2.พวกที่เช่าที่นั่ง มาบอกไล่จะเก็บของแล้ว (ที่อื่นเค้าให้นั่งไปจนพอใจเค้ามาเก็บวันรุ่งขึ้นแค่ให้เราวางแอบๆข้างต้นไม้) 3.ห้องน้ำ อาบน้ำ จะปิดแล้ว บางคนยังขึ้นมาเตรียของไม่ทันจะเดินไปอาบน้ำ ที่อาบน้ำจะปิดกันแล้ว และมีที่เดียว แถมยังเป็นห้องอาบน้ำรวม น้ำก็ไม่สะอาด และทำแปลกๆ ผุ้ชายเดินเข้าห้องน้ำก็เห็นผู้ญอาบน้ำ ทำไม่ มิดชิดไม่โอเค ควรปรับปรุงนานละเรื่องห้องอาบน้ำ (ทีอื่น เป็นห้องส่วนตัว แถมเข้าปิดแล้วแต่ก็เปิดให้คนใช้งานได้ แค่ว่างตังเอาไว้ที่โต๊ะ)

4.อันนี้สุดๆ แมลงหัว หัวเขียวตัวใหญ่ๆ หาดดูสะอาด แต่พอสั่งของกินเท่านั้น กินไม่ได้ แมลงวันหัวเขียวตัวใหญ่ มาลุมอาหาร เป็น ร้อยๆตัว คือถ้าหยุดปัด เมื่อไหร่ ลุมอาหารเป็น สีดำๆเพราะมีแต่ตัวแมลงวันเต็มทุกจาน ต้องเก็บอาหาร หมดเลยว่าจะมานั่งกินอะไรริ่มหาดจบกัน ปัญหานี่ควรแก้เร่งด่วน แมลงวันมีภาหะนำโรคต่างๆ ปล่อยไว้เยอะขนาดนี้ สุดๆ

5.อาหารราคาแพงกว่า ปกติ 2เท่า อย่างที่รุ้ๆกัน รสชาติอาการ ก็โอเคนะไม่ได้แย่ เหมือนหลายคนบอก อยุ่ที่ร้านด้วย แนะนำร้านที่เรียกลูกค้า อาหารโอเค มีอยู่ร้านเดียวที่จะเรียกลูกค้า และเห็นว่าถ้าพักในนี่ เค้าส่งที่พักให้ทั้งคืนด้วย

6.ถังขยะ หกโมงเย็น ไล่เก็บถังหมดแล้ว แล้วที่น่าเกลียดมากคือ เห็นกับตา มีคนกวาดทำความสะอาดถนน ที่จอดรถ ลากถังขยะอยู่ สองเข่ง มีคนถาม ขออนุญาตทิ้งขยะได้ไหม คนนั้นบอกไม่ได้ ให้เก็บเอาไปทิ้ง ข้างนอกเอง ถุงเล็กๆ จะหวงถังขยะอะไรขนาดนั้น สิ่งที่ทำให้คนที่พบเจอและเห็น คงไม่อยากกับไป เที่ยวที่นี่อีก

สรุปสุดท้าย นี่ไม่เคยเขียนยาวขนาดนนี้ แต่เพราะนี่เป็นหาดในความทรงจำที่ดีตอนเด็ก แต่กับมาแล้ว ไม่ประทับใจ ก็คงเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายที่จะมาที่นี่ คงไม่คิดกับมาอีก...
