Dinosaur Valley is located inside the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Pattaya, and it is considered one of the most attractive sections for visitors, especially families and children.
Concept and Design • The valley was opened in 2017 to recreate the world of prehistory. • It features more than 180 life-sized dinosaur models, carefully designed to reflect their forms and postures from different eras. • The models are made of fiberglass with realistic details in color and texture, giving visitors a genuine sense of stepping back millions of years.
Species on Display • The site showcases statues of famous species such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and more. • Some models are arranged in family groups to illustrate interaction between creatures, while others are posed dynamically (running or fighting) to enhance both educational and entertaining aspects.
Visitor Experience • The area is designed as a wide open walkway that allows visitors to walk among the dinosaurs and take photos from close distances. • It serves as a perfect spot for family photos and educational adventures for children. • The valley is also used as an educational tool to explain the history of dinosaurs, their evolution, and extinction, presented in a simple visual way that combines knowledge and entertainment.
Overall Atmosphere • The site is enhanced with natural elements such as rocks and tropical plants to make the setting more authentic. • With night lighting, the valley transforms into a striking visual display, where the dinosaurs appear in a dramatic scene that...
Read moreMy second visit at this amazing park. You need more hours to visit all the places from other countries. This place is magnificent. You are walking on wooden gangway above the area, upstairs and dowmstairs or jump on some sightseeing busses. In between nice bushes, trees and flowers you will find all kind of dinosaurs - a big moment for kids.
You can enjoy local traditional dances and an elephant show. Being against using wild animals for shows and paying to WWF in order to treat wild animals with dignity in their own areas, we did not attend the show. Few years ago my daughter and I were present at an elephant show, when we watched some elephants be whipped and kicked in order to beg money from the audience. Disgusting. Stop using wild animals for pleasure, just to get their money.
Wild animals belong to the forest and savannah.
Ticket for the park only THB 500. The full package THB 800. Have enough...
Read moreOverall we really loved visiting these gardens/park and found it to be worth the visit. There were lots of "oh, wow" moments where you see a great sight or view, tons of great photo opportunities. The place is very large and it takes a couple hours to walk around and see the highlights. Dinosaur valley was a sight to behold and was fun to see, we love dinosaurs and they represented nearly all of them. There were hundreds of different animal sculptures throughout the park and about 6-7 different biome areas. It is well maintained and cared for, for the most part with a few flaws here and there.
The prices was 600 baht per adult to walk around the entire park, they offered several packages that included different modes of transportation (for various added costs) but if you're up for the walk I'd recommend that but it does take at least 2-3 hours of walking to see...
