Place review : Sirinthorn museum This is museum that is in my hometown, in this museum about dinosaur fossil. It is a place that is very suitable for bringing family to travel. The air conditioner is very cold. Let me tell you. Parking is convenient. The place is spacious and large. It's fun to walk and travel. It's not hot at all. Inside is very clear. The visual media is well organized, the colors and lights are very beautiful, modern and have many activities for kids. There are many type of dinosaurs. Since I was a kid around 10 years old, I went to this museum 2 times per week because I like dinosaur very much. If you coming to learn the world of primitive creatures here In addition to gaining knowledge, we also get to experience museums that show stories that are well conveyed. This is one of Geology learning center and important dinosaur excavation holes in E-san, that convenient to travel, the entrance is a little deep. But it is easy to notice from Phu Kum Khao that stands out. There is a lot of parking. Holidays on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are more crowded than usual. Most visitors are children and families, if you want to come to this museum is the good idea for bring your kids to travel to...

I am disappointed with the Sirindhorn Museum after our recent visit with a university group. We took the time to call and made prior arrangements, specifically mentioning that we were composed of international and thai students studying in Thailand wishing to visit the museum. We were informed that the entrance would be free for students and we only needed to issue a formal letter from the university. We provided the necessary documents.

However, upon arrival, we were told to pay the full adult foreigner price. It was a complete disregard for the prior arrangements we had made and this was not communicated to us. Not even a discount was provided.

This experience left us feeling misled and frustrated. We traveled for almost 6 hours only to be met with such a situation. So this was extremely...

This museum was far more than I expected. Probably more suited to children but I still learned alot myself. There wss plenty of parking on the right as you drive in and the entrance to the museum quite impressive with model dinosaurs. After purchasing the ticket I gollowed the footprints around the museum in the nice air conditioning. There was a power cut whilst I was standing next to the TRex which was entertaining! Feel free to venture up the hill when you leave the museum. There were no real signs but there is a building with an actual archealogical dig inside (it's on the side of a mountain). Head up the hill away from the carpark and turn left. Walk along a short way and you'll arrive at the building on your right. Worth the walk. The Sinderhorn is a good quality Museum, the Thais...

The Sirindhon Museum in Kalasin province offers a fantastic educational experience for all ages. This museum provides insight into fossils, particularly dinosaur fossils, and the methods used to preserve them. Children, especially those in primary school, will be fascinated by the diverse range of dinosaur species on display, making it difficult to leave this captivating place. It's a source of wonder and discovery that goes beyond traditional knowledge found in textbooks or libraries. Established by HRH Princess Sirindhon, the museum is a highly recommended destination that focuses on educational enrichment for both children and adults. We had a wonderful time at the museum. Definitelt a Mus-See attraction , when you stay in Kalasin. Kudos kalasin!

We visited the dinosaur museum in Kalasin and had a really great time. It’s an impressive place with a lot to see and learn, especially for kids who love dinosaurs. The exhibitions are interesting and there’s a lot of history packed into the museum. You can tell it’s been there a while, though – some parts are starting to look a bit worn and could use some maintenance. Still, the overall experience was absolutely worth it. After the museum, we walked up the hill behind it to visit a beautiful temple at the top. The view from up there is fantastic and adds something extra to the whole trip. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. It’s a fun and educational outing with a nice mix of nature, culture, and prehistoric adventure.

I have not been to the other dinosaurs fossils sites in Thailand but find this one impressive enough. The museum is modern with a lot of information in English, many dinosaurs to appeal to kids. Beside dinosaurs info, there are info on the galaxy, formation of the earth and human evolution too, 200 metre away(uncovered walk) is the fossils site but no English information in it. In between them is a little fern garden and near exit of museum have exhibits of well taken photos of attractions in Kalasin, that most visitors missed. In fact, many visitors missed the fossils site where 7 dinosaurs remains are found, which is the highlight of the place. Poor marketing. Entrance is 100 baht but valid with the Thailand Museum Pass.
