Si Wiang Dinosaur Park — Attraction in Khon Kaen Province

Phuwiang is all about dinosaurs. This park invites for a relaxing stroll with your kids without the need to climb mountains. In a time when tourist destinations like Pattaya or Chiang Mai charge significant entry fees I was surprised to see that almost all sites in Wiang Kao are free of charge. You can get tourist information at the center and also refreshments at the front.

The dinosaur park is also part of the Khon Kaen Geopark initiative.

Went today and had a walk around. It was pretty empty and I got around it in 20 minutes. Apart from the main centre piece it just has a lot of the same dinosaurs and a lot of them are falling apart. It was however worth the visit as it was free. Kids would probably enjoy it. There was a place to buy cold drinks and toilets and reasonable...

Not many things visitors can do in this place, maybe just all about sightseeing. Somehow, the park seemed a little bit not well maintained. There is no entrance fee and a spacious parking lot is available. At the end it is still a good place to establish your moment while visiting Khon Kaen Geopark that are related to...
