We really enjoyed being with the elephants here! They were treated nicely and with respect from elephant care, loch palm!
Of course be mindful when bringing children to treat these beautiful creatures and place with respect too and following the safety procedures! If you’re a true animal lover, you’ll feel a little pain when you hear what the elephants have been through, some even still perform old tricks cause it’s been imbedded in their memory which is so sad! But knowing they have been rescued by this place gives us a sense of relief that they are on their healing journey with much food and space! Shoutout to our guide host Toto, who’s really friendly and funny! We did the half day program which was just enough for us!
Some additional feedback: Maybe in future, the only thing we would recommend having changed is the amount of families to allow one person from each group for the cooking part as we weren’t able to partake in all because some tourists that weren’t considerate towards others rushed their children to get a frying pan each. Maybe they can provide a private family tour instead for those tourists…
We would definitely come back again to see the granny who’s over 60 years old!!!...

The elephant was taken care very well, this elephant care is very ethical in my opinion.
We got to experience making elephant food, feed them, chilling in a mud with them, shower and also swimming with them. After some elephant experience, we cooked thai food: pad thai and somtum! And in the end we got to make our own souvenir!
Not to mention that we’re so lucky coz we can meet Isabella the cute little baby elephant.
Better yet, there’s a dedicated staff who make a photo & video for free for us❤️ so keep your phone away and focus on the experience👌🏼
