🌿 A Heartfelt Experience at The Only Elephant Park in Bangkok 🐘

Today was nothing short of magical. Visiting The Only Elephant Park in Bangkok — an elephant sanctuary — was an unforgettable experience that touched my heart deeply. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the elephants here are treated with so much love, care, and respect.

We specifically looked for an ethical elephant sanctuary — a place where animals are cared for, not exploited — and this was the only one that truly met our expectations. Here, you won’t find elephant rides or shows. Instead, you get to feed them, pet them, bathe them, walk with them through a forest-like area, and even play in the mud with these beautiful, gentle beings. It’s a kind, respectful, and emotional experience for anyone who truly loves animals.

What blew my mind was the knowledge and devotion of the trainers. Their connection with the elephants, the way they communicate with them, and their deep understanding of their needs was powerful and inspiring.

On top of the incredible experience, the value for the price is amazing. It includes: • A full set of clothes and shoes to wear during the activities (so you don’t ruin your own) • A delicious local lunch • Cold drinks • A super cute souvenir shop

I wholeheartedly recommend Bangkok Elephant Park~ sanctuary to anyone who wants to connect with elephants in a genuine, ethical, and unforgettable way. It’s not just a tourist stop — it’s a soul-touching experience that will stay with you long...

MUST TRY! Bring a change of clothes if you wish, but visitors are all provided light Thai clothing, hats, rain boots, and towels for use in the premises.

A half day at Bangkok Elephant Park inclusive of round trip hotel transfer is well worth the time and money. Whether it’s hand feeding bananas to a 5 year old pachyderm whose name also means banana, or voluntarily wading into a mud hole to give a cooling scrub to a 50+ year old granny elephant, every interaction with these wonderful creatures is ethical and endearing.

The people looking out for guests also do a great job! Mandarin and English-speaking visitors are taken care of as well as the elephants are. Food is fine for people who don’t like spicy dishes. Beach-style open air showers and changing rooms are available in addition to restrooms, as well as various sizes of lockers to store your belongings in during the tour.

Our guide, Not, and the other facilitators walked us through the whole experience and made sure that we understood how to behave around the elephants and kept things light and humorous. The team stays on top of things whether it’s teaching you to prepare handcrafted inhalers for yourself or vitamin-rich snacks for the elephants.

Note that many of the items in the souvenir store are also commonly found at vendors in the city, but I was quite happy to buy a few things to help support the upkeep of the organization and to have a direct connection to...

Great place to get immersed into the world of these asian giants.

This place offers a informative half day activity where the amazing staff will teach you a lot about these elephants behaviour, life habits and the mission of this organization, which aims to protect these animals while educating the public.

Yes this still seems to be a for-profit organization/company, but the way the animals seems to be treated, and the way they behave with the staff makes me believe they are in very good hands.

All interactions between the public and these animals is closely monitored and supervised by the staff, which I believe is primarily for animals safety, and also to protect clients that might not behave properly without knowing (ie. getting too close or not detecting animals reaction properly).

Although quite expensive for this type of attraction in Thailand, this is really worth the price as this is way more interesting than a visit to the zoo or an elephant ride without context.

The personnel is kind, funny, professional and most of them speak English and/or Mandarin, and some seem to know a few words in many other languages.

On points to consider, the buffet is not that great but still fine. They should serve more thai food 😋😉😍. The items in the boutique are overpriced, but we still got some to encourage this nice business.

Overall we had a lot of fun!

Highly...
