11th April, with Neramit Homhaul, my host who works at Na Lao Sub district Administrative office as a preschool teacher, I participated in a ceremony organized by Na Lao Sub district administrative office, Amphor Nawang, Nongbuwa Lampong province, Thailand. We went in a procession from Ban Phe In Plaeng school to the Eravan Temple which lies around 5.5 kilometers away from the school. The procession was accompanied by dance performance by the villagers. Later, I climbed up to the cave with my host and beheld the inside of this massive cave with our naked eyes. Inside the cave, one can find paved paths leading to every nook and corner of the cave which is illuminated with fluorescent lamps. This can be considered one of the wonders of nature located in Nong buwa Lampong province in Thailand and should not be missed by any visitor to...

This cave is worth a visit if you're in the area, though it may not be the most spectacular one you've seen. To reach the entrance, you'll need to climb 600 steps, but they're not too steep and should be manageable for most people with an average fitness level. Once you reach the top where the golden Buddha is, venture into the cave and walk all the way through to the other end, where you'll find an opening. Climbing the stairs there will reward you with great views. While the cave is lit, it's a good idea to bring a torch for extra visibility. Before climbing up the stairs, for safety reasons, you'll have to register with a guard and sign out when you leave. The entrance is free but donations at the temple are appreciated – donation boxes are available at the...

You love Thai temples and places of worship you are already at the right place. If you don't mind climbing up about 600 steps, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area. The Buddha overlooking everything and guarding the Entrance to the cave. Take your time exploring you not only find stalactites and anything natural a cave has to offer. Look at the remains of ancient wall decorations and rock formations which I am not sure they where man made or naturally looking like offering places or creatures of...

A small Temple shrine set inside a cave network. There are only 600 steps to the top involved so don't worry, there are little rest huts on the way. Impressive views of the surrounding farmland and to the mountains in the distance. Inside the cave you can currently walk further in, steps carved into the rock as well as other carvings and natural rock formations. The inside of the cave is nice and cool so provides a good relief after reaching the top so you can recover to make the trip down. Login and out at the base for safety reasons.

We visited Erawan Cave today. A very steep 611 steps up in 35deg heat but it was worth it. The cave is amazing, very tall and wide inside and goes deep into the mountain. There is some lighting but I would take a torch if possible. The Budha statue at the cave entrance is very large and I am amazed they build it in such a place. Entry is free, wear good shoes and take some water. Going down is easy.
