The temple’s stunning golden stupa is the highlight, along with the intricate architecture and serene atmosphere that give you a sense of calmness amit the bustling city life. Whether you are a devotee or a normal visitor, this place brings with it a relax and waveless environment. The tranquil setting, combined with its cultural significance, makes it a wonderful place for relaxation. It was fortunate to have taken a trip up Mae Salong. The journey from Chiang Rai took us almost an hour, traveling about 35 km along some rugged mountain roads with sharp bends to get to this place. It was indeed exciting to see some things that were still new to me.

Wat Phra That Santitham, built among the scenic hills of Mae Salong, Chiang Rai, is definitely a peaceful sanctuary for me, with no crowds at all. The spiritual vibes are so strong, and the enriching calmness that I felt is worth traveling to this destination. I consider myself very lucky to be able to visit this place. This simple yet elegant temple is set amidst a chedi and lots of lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a perfect spot for both spiritual reflection and nature lovers. If you're a tea lover, then it's even better.

The temple’s stunning golden stupa is the highlight, along with the intricate architecture and serene atmosphere that it provides that gives you a sense of calmness amidst the bustling city life.

Whether you are a devotee or a normal visitor, this place brings with it a relaxing and waveless environment. The tranquil setting, combined with its cultural significance, makes it a wonderful place for relaxation. A word of caution: bring your own drinking water; though you can get supplies at the 7-Eleven store.

The people here will be friendly if you can speak Thai; otherwise, stay away and remain quiet. The locals can be timid and unwelcoming if they feel your presence here bothers their breathing space, making them uneasy. Otherwise, it is a lovely place with fresh air. Anyone interested in a game changer can visit Mae Salong and its beautiful surroundings.

Probably THE MOST BEAUTIFUL temple I have seen in Thailand! Here is why: - located on top of a hill with fantastic views - the calmness is great for meditation and praying - it makes you feel close to heaven - not overcrowded like other places
