An amazing experience. Well worth spending a day.

Breathtaking Natural Setting: Nestled in lush jungle just outside Pai, Mor Paeng Waterfall feels serene yet vibrant, with the sound of rushing water creating a calming backdrop.

Perfect Size & Atmosphere: Not overwhelmingly large, which makes it approachable and welcoming—ideal for a laid-back afternoon rather than an intense trek.

Inviting Natural Pools: The water is refreshingly cool, perfect for a dip on a hot day. The smooth rock formations create natural slides that add playful adventure for both adults and kids.

Great for All Ages: Locals and travelers mingle here, sliding down rocks, swimming, and sunbathing—giving the place a friendly, communal vibe.

Easy Access: A short drive or scooter ride from Pai with a straightforward path from the parking area—no advanced hiking skills needed.

Convenient Amenities: Small food stalls nearby offer snacks and drinks, so you can refuel without leaving the area.

Relaxation Options: Plenty of shaded spots and sunny rocks to lounge on—whether you’re reading, meditating, or simply soaking up the view.

Less Crowded Than Other Waterfalls: Even with visitors around, it never feels overrun, offering space to unwind and enjoy nature.

Scenic Ride: The drive there is part of the experience, passing through beautiful countryside that showcases Pai’s charm.

Must-Visit in Pai: A perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty—absolutely deserving of five stars and a spot on any...

This one’s one of the ones that is actually worth it.

Make sure to make your way all the way up and then there’s a bridge on the left that you can exit from.

Since you’re gonna exit from the top, I highly suggest checking out the bottom part first before making your way up.

There’s also a hidden slide in the first waterfall that you seen when you enter. You’ll see paintings drawn on the rocks themselves showing you where to sit and where to avoid. There’s also a bucket connected to the rock that goes into the water to make sure that the rocks are wet before you slide down. It seems a bit scary at first, but after doing it a few times you realize you’ll be OK.

Not much walking is required and honestly, this can be done with slippers or slides.

If I remember correctly, it was only...

Wow!! Very beautiful nature spot! We parked out bike easily outside and walked for few minutes into a marvelous area, where Thai local people were building new bridge made of real bamboo. Sooo unique and special. Afterwards you can carefully slide in the rocks, just make sure you see the locals do it first and just learn from them- awesome experience! Did it few times and did not hurt myself at all. Don't worry. On weekends could be pretty crowded so remember maybe to plan your visit in advance. You can easily spend a day here. If you want you can integrate your trip with the amazing driving and view afterwards, and the restaurant and the bridge and so on, as appears in Google maps. We came few times and definitely come back there...

Awesome waterfall! Plenty of rock climbing and scrambling to do and even a waterslide! Amazing! There were also a lot of young Thai children playing by the waterfall and they were making bamboo ropes to help everyone climb up the slippery rocks which was quite sweet. We had a great time here. I even dropped my glasses in the water and the Thai children around expertly found them. I still have no idea how! It is only a short walk from the car park down a few steps and if you dont want to do any rock scrambling there are great views of the waterfall from the bottom too :)
