An adventure to The Pam Bok Waterfall is one of the best things to do when exploring the mountainous region of Pai. Here is the complete guide of Pam Bok Waterfall to help you plan your trip! Pambok Waterfall is 9km south-west of Pai on the same road that leads out to the Bamboo Bridge and Pai Land Split. It is approximately a 20-minute drive to Pambok Waterfall from the centre of Pai.

The best way to get around Pai is on a scooter to explore all four corners of the region. Scooters can be rented for a little as 150 Baht per day from one of the many rental stores in the centre of Pai. Alternatively, some accommodations have scooter rentals available for around the same price. A money deposit or passport is generally required for insurance purposes.

If you aren’t confident with riding a scooter, you can hail a songthaew (pick-up truck with bench seats) to get from A to B. Make sure to agree on a price with the driver first before jumping...

They’ve got this so badly wrong! There is a 200thb charge to enter. To be clear this is for a pass that gives you one day access to a number of attractions in the area. You can’t buy a ticket purely to go to the falls. It’s therefore 200thb or you don’t get to see them, even if it’s the only place you visit on their list. We sat by the entrance for about 30 mins researching the other sites to see if they were worth visiting. In that time at least 10 people/couples approach and we’re given the 200thb news. As you’d expect, most were young ‘backpackers’, who on being told how much drove off. Only one middle aged couple actually went in and even then begrudgingly. To whoever has put this in place, you really are missing a trick. Even if you charged 30thb you would have made an extra 600thb in the short time we were there. Maybe offer both the multi day pass and the single entry? Such a shame, it smacks of naive greed over good...

A complete rip off at 400bhat per adult and 200bhat per child. The government should look into this park charging absurd prices. The most insulting thing is that you don't even see any improvements nor do you know where the money is going.

I've been coming to Pai since 2017 but will probably not return anymore because it's ridiculous to think tourists will pay such a high price for only one attraction. Yes, you can use the ticket for other attractions but only if you do so in one day. At least make the tickets usable for a couple of days.

In short, just typical greedy people trying to get as much money as possible. Won't be long before Pai is completely forgotten about; without access to its beautiful nature, hot springs and waterfalls, there really...

Pros : A must see in the city accordingnto tourists experts Beautiful waterfall and you can even swim in it. Away from the hassle bussle of the city For the price you have access to other places like Lod Cave, Ngam hotspring and I think you should definetly go to these prices so it's worth the 400 Baht you spend. Attention because for those other places you will still have to pay for the parking fee if you are coming with a motorbike (around 30 Baht each times) Cons : 400 Baht for the entrance fee, it can be a little too much especially if you don't plan to go to the other places included. Only 5 minutes walk to get to the water fall, no real hiking unfortunately .

Phone internet doesn't reach this place. Didn't know there is a small waterfall if I explore further since it is not obvious and not the leading path. I come on July 21 which is supposedly beginning of raining season yet the water level is below what seen in other reviewers here. Good thing is they are having minor renovation at the entrance building new toilets and no collection of fees. With almost no other visitors, we could easily find parking for our car. We had a good swim, nearer to the waterfall goes very deep. At 185cm, I manage to make a short jump into it yet I couldn't even touch the bottom.
