The waterfall takes about 10-20 minutes walking. However, there are slopes up and down along the way to the waterfall. You should prepare inhaler, a fan, or a bottle of water. There are bridges and trees (the giant one) that you can stop and see along the way. The staff recommended that around October, the tide is high and the sight looks really beautiful, however, in the meantime, you wouldn't be able to take pictures as the water will be splattering everywhere even when you are on the deck.
For your own safety, you should not visit the waterfall after the sunset as not only will it be closed, but there’s also limited lights along the way with the majority of the path is in the tropical forest. You are also not allowed to swim in the water or jump down into the water as the distance between the sightseeing deck and the water is very high. There are benches along the way so you can stop, take a break, then continue walking.
Please stay aware of wild animals and don't make loud noise while walking as majority of the path is the forest and the officer said that wildlife randomly appears on the way from time to time.. Please acknowledge the emergency contact that is on the directory. Please also note that the phone signal is really low on the way towards...

Read moreThis was a really nice location even though the waterfall was dry. My wife and I made the trip alone. They had a nice large paved parking area. There were restrooms, and a small restaurant and shop for drinks at the top. The beginning of the trail looks very easy. The further you go the more often you come across more difficult parts of the trail and they get more difficult the closer you get to the falls. We knew there was not water, but this is a rare event so we wanted to have a look. There were many other people on the trail, but it was not crowded at all.
I have some breathing difficulties and I was using my portable oxygen generator. The steeper parts of the trail required me to turn it to its highest setting and I still needed to frequently rest when coming back up from the bottom of the falls. It was a long slog for me with my little machine, but I think most people can make the round trip in less than two hours and this will include ample time to take pictures. It took us almost three hours, but we had a good time...
