Ka Ang Water Fall — Attraction in Nakhon Nayok Province

Ka Ang Waterfall is one of those spots that catches you off guard with how peaceful it feels. 🌿💧 It’s tucked away in Ban Na District, Nakhon Nayok — not overly touristy, which makes it perfect for anyone wanting a quiet nature break. The waterfall flows over smooth rocks surrounded by green jungle, and the sound alone could put you in meditation mode. Birds, running water, and zero city noise. That’s the whole soundtrack. 🕊️🍃

The walk up isn’t too hard, though a bit slippery, so decent shoes help. There’s a small café and local vendors near the entrance if you need snacks or drinks before heading in. Once you reach the main cascade, the air cools down immediately, and the water’s clear enough to dip your feet or take a full swim if you’re brave enough. 🏞️💦

It’s not the biggest or most dramatic waterfall, but that’s what makes it charming — calm, clean, and beautifully local. Perfect for a short getaway or a photo stop if you’re passing through Nakhon Nayok. Just bring mosquito repellent, because nature here is...

It’s the end of January and the waterfall is pretty much dried up completely (like most other places in Nakon Nayok that we visited). Too bad.

We will definitely come back again when there’s water. It looks like such a nice place.

There’s also a huge white/gold Buddha statue visible from far away (in a dilapidated looking temple). Not a single person or monk to be seen in the entire compound. Again, too bad, though the statue is nice.

EDIT: We came back in September (rainy season, but a dry day). So now there’s water, but, oh what a dreary and desolate...
