If you’re looking for a family-friendly day in Khao Yai, Bonanza Exotic Zoo is the perfect place! We recently visited and were blown away by how close we could get to the animals. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the animals were so friendly and approachable. Our kids absolutely loved it!
What really stood out to us was the variety of animals. From gentle deer to quirky ostriches, there were plenty of opportunities for our little ones to touch and feed the animals. It’s rare to find a place where you can get so up close and personal with such a range of wildlife. The kids were especially thrilled to pet the goats and rabbits. It made the experience that much more memorable for them!
The environment was also fantastic—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It never felt overcrowded, even with several families visiting at the same time. There were plenty of shaded areas to relax, which made it easy to spend a whole afternoon there without feeling too hot. The overall layout of the zoo allowed us to explore at a comfortable pace.
Another highlight was the staff, who were very friendly and informative. They made sure everyone had a great time and took the time to explain things to our children. Their knowledge and passion for the animals made the experience educational as well as fun.
All in all, Bonanza Exotic Zoo is a must-visit for families. The joy of seeing your children interact with the animals in such a peaceful setting is priceless. We can’t wait to return on our next trip...

Great place with young kids. With 4 kids, i award my kids 50 baht each time they demonstrate some good values in this zoo, and they are free spend it on the next feeding. There are plenty of feeding opportunities priced at 50 baht each, so plenty of activities to do and plenty of chances for the kids to think of good values. Thats just my experience.
Compared with other mainstream zoo, this is smaller scale, much more budget, but it is also more relaxed on the rules and we tend to be able to get much closer to the animals.
Everything seems good except many animals seems to be kind of neglected by the vet - over grown tooth of the alpaca, overgrown nails of the dwarf donkey, etc. This is where my 5th...
Read moreIf i could give a MINUS score i would. Its a Disgraceful place and the owners should be ashamed of themselves as the conditions for the animals is woeful. Not only do they look unhappy, they look sick as well. The animal pens are unsuitable for the animals. Almost 30% of the pens are empty and full of weeds. They treat the animals like a side show. I also think the place is very unsafe for children as the fences are quite small on some of the pens and also kids can stick their full hand into the lion enclosed area and there fingers into most cages. How this place is still open I'm shocked and amazed. With the greenies running around like headless chickens I'm amazed that no one has picked this up yet and done...
